So, is it totally wrong to be blogging about Easter even though it is the beginning of May? Oh well, better late than never, right?
Ivey wasn't too fond of the visit from the Easter bunny at the babysitter's house... so she was not too keen on the idea of him coming into her house while she was asleep. Therefore, the Easter bunny just stopped by the door and left her a basket there...
Feeding her new baby, who she quickly named Mia. (Yaya had told her about a little girl named Mia who visited her house the night before so the name was still fresh on her mind.) Mia talks and asks for bananas and juice and burps. Ivey's favorite though is when she calls Ivey "Mommy."
Ivey loves to go the mailbox every afternoon and especially loves it when there is mail for her! Thanks, Mawmaw and Pawpaw, for giving a little girl a smile!
After the events of the Easter basket and bunny, we dressed in our Easter best for a wonderful church service...
Then, keeping with tradition for the last SEVERAL years, we visited with our friends Lee and Sheila and their beautiful family. After a delicious meal (thanks to me and you, Sheila, right?), we had to partake in our annual egg hunt. Ivey was ready to go!
The men did a great job of watching! =)
Then they returned to the house for their annual tradition of an afternoon nap!
No nap for the ladies, though. No... we walked to the playground in the subdivision and played around..
Yet, when we returned, we found that nothing had changed...
What a wonderful Easter!
