The long awaited day finally arrived... Disney on Ice! Ivey found a flier in the mail in August with Tinkerbell, Ariel, and Mickey Mouse and it was over with - we had to go! It was so worth it! Ivey had a great time!
Ready for our trip - she was up early... too excited to sleep!
Pulling up to the Bon-Bon-Bon (translation: Von Braun)... She was excited that she was going to see Tinkerbell and "show her my booboo."
Eating our icee in a special Mermaid goblet while waiting for the show to begin! Ivey's mouth was open in awe from the moment we walked in the door!
This is the priceless face when Mickey and Minnie first came onto the ice!
However, as soon as it began, Mickey and Minnie's car "back fired" and Ivey went into a screaming frenzy. For a minute we thought we might have to leave, but once Ivey found her safe place in Momma's lap (which she refused to leave!) and kept her ears covered (even during intermission when NOTHING was going on) she was fine. In fact, she loved it except for it being too loud!
Ariel was a big hit with Ivey.. especially since her 3rd birthday is going to include a party under the sea! =)

Then came what we had been waiting for... TINKERBELL!!! Queen Clarion introducing her...

Up close to Tinkerbell... Ivey actually took her hands from her ears long enough to wave and then back to the ears!
Then came the characters from Toy Story. The other parts of the show were very pretty, but for the me, this was the funniest part. Love Toy Story... Ken and Barbie were hilarious!
This was the last 10 minutes - really! She decided that the loud noise wouldn't hurt her and joined in with the dancing!
A final goodbye!
What a great time at Disney on Ice! She has talked about it for weeks!
Within 2 minutes - literally - she was out!
