Before Ivey, our "kids" belonged to my oldest brother, Stephen. Carson & Kaylan barely remember when Kyle wasn't in the family. Since we have been married, the kiddos have come to stay with us for a few days each summer. We all look forward to this time... it is always a ton of fun. Even after little Ivey came along, we have kept up our summer flings! This past week the kids have been with us. I have several pics from the week to share tomorrow. First, let's travel back to May.
In early May some very exciting things happened. First, Carson graduated from 8th grade. It seems like yesterday that it was kindergarten graduation! He was salutatorian of his class and had the honor of leading prayer and speaking at the graduation.

Three days later we traveled to Tennessee again for an even more important event. Earlier in the week Carson & Kaylan both accepted Christ as their Savior at revival. On Sunday after the graduation, we watched as Carson & Kaylan showed the world what had happened on the inside when they were saved. The baptism was such a joyous time for our family and everyone else there in the family of God!
