Storm Damage

So a few weeks ago there was a rough storm and we were awaken about 11:30 at night with a boom... when we looked out our bedroom window we saw nothing but leaves. When morning came, this is what we saw...

The two trees that fell were forked and provided most of the shade from their monstrous size for our back corner.  However, as you can see, they were sitting in nothing but water...

 Our little grill we pulled from the rubble...

 Kyle's dad, Steve, was able to come and help cut it off the roof and put up a tarp.  Thankfully, the Lord allowed minimal damage to the house and none of it structural.  We now have new gutters and underpinning on the back of the house (plus some on the side and front), a freshly painted den, dining room, and foyer, one window fixed up, and an extra - my den carpet restretched.  So grateful the Lord took care of us all, though, and that the damage wasn't worse...
