Santa visits the Tinker House!

Even though we didn't leave out milk and cookies, Santa came to visit our house for the first time!

The stockings were hung on the chimney with care...

And it showed that St. Nicholas had been there...

We started with the books... but that was a rookie parent mistake... it was hard to get her refocused... Every girl has to have some shoes!

Mastering the unwrapping...

Another favorite of little girls... cute clothes!

Back to the books....

Daddy trying to refocus Ivey with her new tutu... the girl loves her books, though!
Santa brought several cute dresses for the summer!

He brought some videos, too!

Santa really made the day with this mini kitchen. Ivey loved it from first sight and still gets a kick out of playing with it!

Not really getting the idea that these are washing mitts for the tub...

Never too early to begin learning basic skills and every girl needs her own PINK basketball!

Daddy demonstrating how the ball and goal works...

Ivey watched with little interest... she was loving her rattle that she has had... who cares about all the new stuff????

Daddy once again tries to refocus her attention... and again we are not too successful...

STOCKING TIME!

Ivey now has her very own silver bracelet...

Doesn't show up well but it is engraved with her initials!

Poor thing was thirsty... needless to say we took a break and had breakfast...

The wrapping paper makes for some great fun afterwards!

Santa thought Ivey was a very good little girl!

Ivey had a special gift for Momma...

And she had one for Daddy, too!

Another surprise on Christmas morning... SNOW!!! All these years we wished for a white Christmas and here Ivey got one the very first time! Luckily, the snow began to melt enough after lunch that we could head to the next Christmas stop in Tennessee!
