Tinker Christmas

Kyle had the flu, Ivey had fever, and I came down with the stomach virus... Thankfully, this was all part of the week leading up to Christmas and not on Christmas. By Thursday before, we were all better and hitting the road to Sand Mountain to begin our 1st Christmas celebrations.
We began with some Christmas baking. Ivey was the taste tester....
She had to show Uncle Dave how to play the guitar...

We spent Christmas Eve visiting with extended family. Papa Tink and Yaya both had to work but the rest of us made the journeys.

Ivey took up immediately with her 3rd cousin, Ava.

Cousin Mike helped her unwrap all her presents.

Ivey had to catch a cat-nap where she could... we were in and out all day.

Next stop was Granny and Poppy's house. They gave Ivey a praying lamb... you can tell that she just loved it!

Cheesing it up with Granny!

Talking with Poppy!

All of us posing for a pretty pic!
Next was a stop at Great Aunt Sandra's house. No pictures... we were having too much fun with all of the cousins to worry about pictures! Ivey kept chasing the dog... who was smart and ran in the other direction! It was nice seeing all the Whetzells. It has been a while since we had time to sit and visit with them.
Gift time at Papa Tink and Yaya's...her very own cell phone!
Showing off...

The biggest gift was a beautiful handmade toy chest that was made especially for Ivey by Papa Tink!

Discussing the new toy chest with Papa...

Aunt Whitney & Aunt Brookie showing off their personalized bags from Ivey.

Ivey enjoyed the first stop on her first Christmas journey... next stop is home and Santa!!!!!
