We traveled to Tennessee for our annual cookout at my parents' house with LOTS of family. due to the heat this year, though, we had to take all the festivities inside. Watching the little ones was so eye-opening... gone are the days of playing with baby dolls or turning boxes into castles... bring out the iPads!
This isn't entirely true... they did a lot of running around and toy playing but they can work that technology better than some of the adults!
Time for conversation and good food... as always!
After the crowds left and Ivey got a nap under her belt, we headed to Stephen and NayNay's for some pool time! Now, as you know from past posts, the pool isn't Ivey's favorite yet she always begs to go... she just doesn't want to get in.
However, MawMaw and Carson worked their magic and had her in the water "swimming" (so she thought).
I guess on special events like these it is okay to let your kid splurge a little.... The bag was as big as her and she toted them around eating one after the other as fast as she could! =)
