Another first for the summer (my baby is growing up too fast) - a trip to the dentist. We knew that we needed to get Ivey at least exposed to the dentist and get her checked so a friend of ours recommended a fairly newer place in Madison. There were lots of rave reviews and I found out why. The environment was so fun and kid friendly.... Ivey immediately knew what she was doing... =)
And the staff was soooo friendly. Ivey fell in love with Mrs. Angela, her hygenist. They cleaned Dora's teeth together (since Dora had to make the trip with us).. so sweet!
The dentist was super nice, as well. He checked Dora's teeth first then Ivey's.
However, because Dr. Moffett needed to check her teeth, Ivey had to lay back... not her favorite part at all. She made some noise (actually quite a bit) but all in all was very still and complied to what the dentist wanted her to do.
Although she looks miserable, she got quite happy afterwards with a new toothbrush, balloon, rubber ducky, toothpaste, and princess floss. Plus, we went out for pizza! What kid wouldn't love all that!
